Katie Kurucz acts as Chief Operating Officer and has been with The Harbor Law Group for over seven years. In her role, she’s responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing the estate planning practice, and handles all aspects of financial oversight. Her role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution to ensure the firm runs efficiently, delivers outstanding service, and achieves sustainable growth.
Before joining The Harbor Law Group, Katie acted in numerous roles in the financial services world, including Vice President of Investors Relations for Morrison Street Capital for over five years. Her background included developing relationships with investment companies, interfacing with administrators, communicating company progress, and assuring the timely delivery of investment statements and tax documents to investors, all of which dovetailed perfectly into her current role at the firm.
Katie obtained a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of California, Davis and an Executive Certificate in Financial Planning from the University of Portland. She was a member of the Junior League of Portland, for several years, serving as the Controller of the Finance Committee.
